DREX offers a range of funding and support options for solar developers, including debt financing for solar projects, technical assistance, and business development support. Our investments are structured through a special purpose vehicle (SPV), which allows investors to confidently allocate funding to solar developers in the form of debt. Solar developers can use this funding to install projects on top of rooftops of industries and corporates that pay their monthly energy bill through the platform. In this way, solar developers are able to pay back their debt over time to investors by having the DREX platform channel this funding from the corporate energy utility bill back to the investor.
